Happy New Year, Y’all! I hope everyone had a great holiday with family and friends. One of my favorite things to do during the winter is to head up to my boyfriend’s lake house. Wait, who am I kidding? This is a favorite thing to do year round! During the winter, it’s so nice to spend a relaxing weekend by the fire reading a good book or watching a new movie.
While this outfit may not be what I lounge around the house in, it is the perfect outfit for entertaining. It’s always fun to have a group of friends up to the lake for a weekend. This dress is so comfortable while also being super cute!
If you were wondering if I was freezing while taking these photos, the answer is definitely yes! This vest added an extra layer of warmth while not covering up the dress. I LOVE a good vest. I have a closet full of at least 12 vests…no joke!
I paired this outfit with a pretty pearl necklace and gold and pearl earrings and bracelets. The soft accessories complemented the cream stripes in the dress so well! This has easily become a favorite outfit of mine.
