Happy Thursday! After almost three full weeks of traveling, I’m finally back from my adventures and able to blog again! With that said, I can’t believe Memorial Day weekend is this weekend!  Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays because it is the official start of the summer season. I can’t wait for relaxing weekends at the lake and fun trips to the beach! Today, I want to share with you some of my favorite must have items to kick off your summer in style!   1. Scalloped Swimsuit :: If you’re heading to the lake, beach, or even the pool this weekend, a cute suit is a must. I have this J.Crew swimsuit in cobalt blue and I LOVE it. Even better, this suit comes in blue, red, and black. Get yours here: top & bottom 2. Pom Pom Coverup :: Once you have your cute suit, you can’t forget a cover up! How cute is this cover up that is also from J. Crew? I love the red, white, and blue pom poms! 3. Fun Tote Bag :: A fun tote bag is not only a must have for Memorial Day weekend, but for the entire summer season. It’s perfect for the beach, lake, pool, or everyday errands. I’m currently crushing on this one, but you can find other options here and here. 4. Giant Float :: You can’t go wrong with a giant float! I bought this swan float last year and it has been so fun. This year, it’s time for a pineapple! Bonus: both of these are Amazon Prime eligible so you can have them in time for the weekend!  5. Red Lipstick :: Y’all know I can’t go a day without my lipstick! I love this rich Blazing Red from Bobbi Brown for Memorial Day. 6. Sundress :: What’s Memorial Day weekend without cookouts and parties? This A by Amanda off the shoulder dress is a great option to dress up or down depending on the occasion.  A by Amanda is a more affordable version of my favorite design, Amanda Uprichard, with the same great color and style. 7. Summer Sandals :: I love my Tory Burch Miller sandals

9. Sunglasses :: Last but not least, one of the most important summer accessories – sunglasses! I’ve had this pair of Ray Bans for years and they are a true classic and great for any occasion.
