Book Review: The Southern Side of Paradise by Kristy Woodson Harvey

April 27, 2019 in book review, books

Hey y’all! I know that it’s been a while since I’ve done a book review, but believe me when I say this one was definitely worth the wait.

I recently finished The Southern Side of Paradise by Kristy Woodson Harvey, the third and final book in the Peachtree Bluff series.

The Southern Side of Paradise is a story that continues to follow Ansley Murphy, a successful interior designer living in Peachtree Bluff, and her daughters. This story not only focuses on Ansley, but also Emerson who is an up and coming actress and the youngest of Ansley’s daughters. ย The Murphy family is spending their summer focusing on planning Emerson’s wedding while continuing to push aside family secrets. Ansley believes she is the only one with a secret that could tear her three daughters apart, but little does she know, Emerson is hiding things too.

While this novel in the series revolves around Ansley and Emerson, I was so glad to still read updates around the other Murphy sisters, Caroline and Sloane.

Will the Murphy women be able to lean on one another through it all or will the family secrets tear them apart for good?

The Southern Side of Paradise was easily my favorite book of the series, and I have loved every one. I honestly didn’t want to finish the book because I wasn’t ready for the series to end!

Be sure to get your copy of the first two books in the series before the final comes out on May 7th. ย Click below to grab yours!

ย 1. Slightly South of Simple & 2. The Secret To Southern Charm

You can also pre-oder your copy of The Southern Side of Paradise here!

I would definitely recommend the entire Peachtree Bluff series! In fact, I’m hosting a giveaway of the series over on my Instagram. Head over to my Instagram (HERE) to enter for your chance to win!

Do y’all have any good book suggestions? ย Leave those for me in the comments below!

xo,

9 years of Kristie in Carolina and 10 since I made this place home! Life looks a little different these days (hello, two kids two and under ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ), and I donโ€™t post as often as Iโ€™d like, but Iโ€™m grateful for all of you!

This past year brought big milestones: Ellie Kate making her arrival in January, launching @elliegraycreativeco in February, stepping into my role as @juniorleaguews president, to name a few!

Thank you for being here and following along through it all ๐Ÿ’› Cheers to another year ๐Ÿฅ‚
