Fall Home Tour

October 18, 2020 in Fall, Home, Interior Decor

Welcome, y’all! I absolutely LOVE fall (it may be my favorite!), so I wanted to give you a little peek at how I’ve decorated our home for fall.

Let’s start at the front porch! I grew up on a farm, so I love having straw bales on the porch. I think they are the perfect outdoor fall decoration to help layer with mums and pumpkins.

One thing that I think is important when decorating is adding levels and layers for more visual interest. You can see here how I’ve layered two doormats for texture. How cute is the personalized mat?! Our sweet friend got that for us as an engagement gift. I love how well it layers on top of the black and white buffalo check rug.

I also am obsessed with these pumpkins! I chose different sizes so that I could stack them for even more layers and levels. They are the perfect height next to the mum.

Alright, now kick off your shoes and come on in! Here’s our entryway. If we were in person, I’d be giving you a yummy pumpkin muffin! You can find my recipe here.

Shown here is only one of MANY fall scented candles! I love, love, love DW Home candles. I stumbled upon one a few years ago at Home Goods and now I can’t get enough – just ask Taylor πŸ˜‰

On to the dining room!

Again, layers! The place settings, centerpiece, and table runner are a mixture of items from various places: Home Goods, Pottery Barn, Hobby Lobby, and Pier1.

How cute are these pumpkins in our kitchen?! The table runner here is actually a tablecloth I found at Target last year. I love the richness in color!

Last, but not least, let’s take a look at the living room.

We keep this star up year-round and it fits in perfectly with the fall decor.

I am really happy with how our mantle turned out this year! I’ve added a few new pieces this year – the striped blue vase as well as the adorable wooden pumpkins! The wooden pumpkins may be my favorite new addition. They are from Family Roots, a family owned nursery and gift shop in my home town. Check out their new website here!

Alright, that’s all I’ve got for you today! I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tour. If you did, let me know! I just may end up doing another one for Christmas time πŸ™‚

I’ve gathered a lot of this fall decor over the last few years, but I’ve rounded up a few cute items for you! Click each image below to shop.

Your porch display looks so chic — I love how you stacked up the pumpkins. I also like your mantle decor with the mix of tiny pumpkins and eucaplytus leaves! Great work.

9 years of Kristie in Carolina and 10 since I made this place home! Life looks a little different these days (hello, two kids two and under πŸ‘ΆπŸΌπŸ‘ΆπŸΌ), and I don’t post as often as I’d like, but I’m grateful for all of you!

This past year brought big milestones: Ellie Kate making her arrival in January, launching @elliegraycreativeco in February, stepping into my role as @juniorleaguews president, to name a few!

Thank you for being here and following along through it all πŸ’› Cheers to another year πŸ₯‚
