It’s officially Thanksgiving week! Does anyone else think that 2020 seems to be flying by, yet dragging along at the same time? Thanksgiving gatherings will probably look different this year for most, but one thing stays the same for me – dressing stylish but more importantly, comfortable!

You may call me crazy, but I prefer to wear a dress instead of jeans for Thanksgiving. Why?! Because there’s more room for my stomach to expand after all the delicious food! Today I’m showing you how you can dress up or dress down this sweater dress.

For a more dressed up look, I added a puffer vest over the dress and chose to wear heeled booties. To me, these are still comfortable pieces that you could wear all day! The best part is that if the weather is a little bit chillier, the puffer vest is the perfect layering piece.

If you’re wanting to go for a more casual look, while still being stylish, all you have to do is switch up your shoes. This sweater dress also goes perfectly with casual slip-on shoes.

I love that a simple change of shoes can totally switch up an outfit! I kept my accessories the same for both looks – tortoise shell and gold – perfect for fall. I also love this dress with a low ponytail to show off any fun earrings.
