Even though I’ve lived in North Carolina for a little over a year, I still consider myself a newbie.  One of the many fun things my boyfriend and I like to do is go on adventures to places I haven’t been before.  That’s not too hard to accomplish considering I had never been to North Carolina before I moved here! One of the first places we went was on a hike at Hanging Rock State Park.  If you know me you’re probably thinking, “Kristie went on a hike?!”  Well, yes, I did and I not only survived but had a blast.    Miss Izzy makes her special guest appearance! She loves adventures. Hanging Rock, a staple in North Carolina, is an easy 45 minute drive from Winston-Salem.
