Wedding Wednesday: Bachelorette Bash

April 28, 2021 in Wedding

A few weeks ago, I packed up and headed to St. Pete Beach, Florida, for my bachelorette party! If you know me, you know I LOVE the beach – really love it. Want to have a beach house someday type of love. It was a no brainer that my bachelorette party would be somewhere on a beach (cue the Dierks Bentley song) so I could soak up the sun.

Once we had a weekend picked, I couldn’t wait! I was so excited to be able to hang out, catch up, and relax with my “I Do Crew” which included (most) of my bridesmaids and girl friends. One of my bridesmaids lives in Tampa, so she helped take charge of planning and things to do. Most of the weekend was kept a secret from me until we were there and I loved the surprise of it!

Our itinerary changed a bit, but HOW ADORABLE is this!

THURSDAY

Thursday was everyone’s travel day. I am so out of practice of flying that I arrived too late to check my bag and thought I was going to miss my own party! Oops! The worst that happened was throwing away all of my sunscreen.

We stayed at the Hotel Zamora, a cute boutique hotel, across from the beach. We spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool, lounging on the rooftop, and took a short walk to the Don Cesar for a casual dinner that evening. Every little detail was so well thought out, from a decorated hotel room, to a daily bridal sash and sashes for all the girls, and even a morning “recovery kit.”

FRIDAY

Think pink!

We started off the day with a delicious breakfast from my favorite place – Chick-fil-A πŸ˜‰ and headed over to The Don Cesar to spend the day. We started the day with amazing hour long massages. An hour is never long enough! We spent the rest of the day lounging on the beach, soaking up the perfect weather

Friday night was our night to get dressed up and head out! We ate at The Urban StillHouse, which had a really cool atmosphere to it. We then went to the Floridian, which was a speakeasy type bar. I loved it!

SATURDAY

After our night out on Friday, I wanted another relaxing day on Saturday. We took a morning walk and stumbled upon an adorable breakfast place, Cafe Soleil and spent the rest of the day lounging by the pool.

Saturday night dinner was my favorite! We went to the cutest restaurant called “Wild Child” and everything was so fun, colorful, and delicious! It’s a casual open air restaurant that I would definitely recommend!

We had the BEST time and I cannot wait to have these girls by my side and helping us celebrate on our wedding day!

Hey girl! A couple of my college friends and I are taking a trip to St. Pete Beach for a girls trip. We are already booked for Hotel Zamora! It looks like y’all stayed there last year on your trip. I would love to go over to Don Cesars for a day, were y’all able to sit or rent chairs in front of there? I did read you spent some time in the spa! Would love more details on this! πŸ™‚

You are going to have the best time! After the spa, we did hang out in the lounge chairs in front of the Don Cesar for the day. I didn’t coordinate, but I believe with spa access, you can get beach access as well. I would suggest giving them a call to make sure πŸ™‚

9 years of Kristie in Carolina and 10 since I made this place home! Life looks a little different these days (hello, two kids two and under πŸ‘ΆπŸΌπŸ‘ΆπŸΌ), and I don’t post as often as I’d like, but I’m grateful for all of you!

This past year brought big milestones: Ellie Kate making her arrival in January, launching @elliegraycreativeco in February, stepping into my role as @juniorleaguews president, to name a few!

Thank you for being here and following along through it all πŸ’› Cheers to another year πŸ₯‚
